چکیده
We set out to study the use of a series of ruthenocenes as possible and promising sources for ruthenium and/or ruthenium oxide film formation.The thermal stability of a series of ruthenocenes, including (η-C5H4R)(η-C5H4R ́)Ru (1), R = R ́ = H (3), R = H, R ́ = CH2NMe2 (5), R = H, R ́= C(O)Me (6), R = R ́ = C(O)Me (7), R = H, R ́ = C(O)(CH2)3CO2H (8), R = H, R ́ = C(O)(CH2)2CO2H (9), R = H, R ́ = C(O)(CH2)3CO2Me (10), R = H, R ́= C(O)(CH2)2CO2Me (11), R = R ́ = SiMe3), (η-C4H3O-2,4-Me2)2Ru (2), and (η-C5H5-2,4-Me2)2Ru (4) was studied by thermogravimetry. From these studies, it could be concluded that 1–4, 6 and 9–11 are the most thermally stable molecules. The sublimation pressure of these sandwich compounds was measured using a Knudsen cell. Among these, the compound 11 shows the highest vapor pressure.

Raoult’s Law and Its Application to Sublimation Vapor Pressures of Mixtures of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) are ubiquitous pollutants resulting from incomplete combustion and many fuel processing and storage operations. They are encountered in the environment in many forms, ranging from non-aqueous phase liquid and/or solid mixtures (i.e., NAPL and NAPS materials), to dissolved aqueous phase components, to adsorbed species on solid surfaces. The present work con...

Nitride compounds are among the most important and widely used compounds in life. The high chemical, thermal and mechanical stability of nitride compounds is due to the interaction of two factors, such as very strong bonds between the elements and the existence of completely covalent structures. Triphosphorus pentanitride (P3N5) is an important nitride compound. Three structures of alpha, gamm...
متن کاملVapor Pressures and Enthalpies of Sublimation of Ten Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Determined via the Knudsen Effusion Method
The vapor pressures of ten polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, ranging in molecular weight from (152 to 252) g ·mol, were measured using the Knudsen effusion technique in the temperature range of (297 to 432) K. These compounds included those for which there were few or conflicting data in the literature: acenaphthylene, acenaphthene, fluoranthene, benzo[a]phenanthrene, 9,10-benzophenanthrene, be...
متن کاملVapor Pressures and Vaporization Enthalpies of a Series of Dialkyl Phthalates by Correlation Gas Chromatography
Experimental vapor pressures, vaporization, fusion and sublimation enthalpies of a number of dialkyl benzenedicarboxylates have been examined by correlation gas chromatography (CGC) experiments in order to identify a series of experimental measurements that appear to be internally self-consistent. The compounds studied in this regard include dimethyl phthalate dimethyl terephthalate, dimethyl i...
